We see things
as we are
“THOSE WHO CONQUER, WRITE HISTORY.
AFTERWARDS, WE CANNOT REMEMBER THE DEEP KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM THAT WE HAVE ACQUIRED THROUGH THE AGES.
WHEN WE NO LONGER RESONATE WITH NATURE, WE CAN NO LONGER SURVIVE.”

Awakening Spirit is a global platform to document, share knowledge and integrate new ways of being. It has emerged from ancient and new wisdom traditions and conscious technologies from around the world.
We believe that it is critical for the survival of the human species to integrate indigenous wisdom, to live inter-related and to be in symbiosis with the natural world. When we tap into our ancient collective memory and interweave it with new narratives, we create a conscious dream and discover the song of life that resonates as one with the universe. And in this collective web we will be able to imagine and co-create a cohesive and harmonious new world.

WE ARE ALL INDIGENOUS OF SOMEWHERE AND EVERYWHERE.
Our planet is graced with indigenous communities that are rich in culture, that have a deep respect for nature, and practice ways of life that blend harmoniously into different geographical and climatic regions. The arctic, the rain forests, the plains, the savanahs, the deserts, the mountains, the high peaks.
Despite overwhelming odds, Greenlanders have survived and safeguarded Inuit culture for many thousands of years. If a family did not get a bird, fish, or seal within a few days, the entire community starved to death in the forbidden icy tundra of the Arctic.
The Embera have always maintained three priorities. One, familly. Two, community. Three, working only when necessary. Essential to the Embera is living in a calm and peaceful environment. In modern times, the Embera have been forced to resettle in a number of different rainforests in Central and South America.
As pastoralists inhabiting the vast savannahs of Africa, Maasai have long understood the importance of having a balanced eco-system. Their entire livelihood is based on the herds of cattle that they follow on the great plains where many other species of animal—from the elephant and giraffe to the wildebeast--thrive.
The Lakota Medicine Wheel is based on the seasons and life cycles. The South is where we are born and how we relate to the place from which we have emerged, the west is where we learn and progress, the north is where we gain insight and wisdom, and the east is where we gain understanding from all of our experiences.

This Living Library is a guideline in co-creating a Awakening Spirit Manual that is critical at this time in surrendering to the necessary transformation of consciousness. Remembering who we are. Reconnecting with our ancestors. Healing our relationship with Mother Earth and each other.
This will naturally allow us to create a conscious vibrant global community that dreams together and incarnates the possibility of a new world.
